Introduction
The government college Bhanpuri was established in the year 2008.The department of arts was established in the year 2008 with the commencement of govt. college Bhanpuri. The faculty of arts was started with the subject political science with only 33 students in B.A. first year which has increased to 120 in B.A. first, 57 in B.A. second year 120 in B.A. final year in session2021-22.
The political science describes the political aspect of country local government constitution its ethical and normative dimension and other related topics the main of this department is to improve the knowledge of learners in the field of political science and make them able to stand strongly in front of society

The department of political science endeavors to generate new knowledge and produce students who are trained in political science.

By providing quality education we empower individuals to become caring competent responsible citizen’s who value education as a lifelong process.
Future plans
The main objective of the department is to produce maximum number of good students and encourage them for higher education Faculty members also strongly desire for building good knowledge of the subject in the mind of the students so that they on establish themselves in future at different all India level competitive examination.
The primary aim of the department is to develop the basic concept of morality among students so that they would become a good and responsible citizen in future.
